This piece personifies so much of what I love about the woodlands of the Carolinas. While painting it I began to feel the organic flow of a stream emerge from the canvas. This painting is destined for the person who feels a million times more themselves after they’ve had an hour to sit by waterside, perhaps envisioning the flow of their own life becoming more effortless, like a stream with gentle pools that eddy into crystalline depths.
This painting is the largest of the new collection, the crowing jewel of the room it will grace.
